Reflexology

Reflexology is believed to have been practiced as far back as  Ancient Egypt,India and China,  but has become popular as a holistic therapy in the modern world since the beginning of the twentieth century. In 1913, the American Dr.William Fitzgerald introduced this therapy, which he called 'zone therapy', as he noticed that reflex areas on the feet and hands were linked to specific areas and organs of the body. During the 1930s Eunice Ingham further refined zone therapy into what we now know as reflexology.

Reflexology is a very gentle, complementary therapy that helps to restore and maintain the body's natural balance and can be used in conjunction with conventional treatments. Reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe.
